I don't have a recipe but was served this on one of our WMSBEG hikes.
Dried apples, dried yams. rehyde. Add cream of chicken cup o soup.
bacon bits.....the real ones.....and chopped pecans. Not a stew....kindof
a cassarole.  Top with fried onion rings like come in a can.  I'm sorry but
I didn't note the spices but it was sooooo good.
