felix WILL be summiting springer on tuesday in the morning.  he has
braved the ice and snow.  he no longer has use of the left side of his
face, or his right big toe, but he limps on, often bumping into the
trees.  his dedication is inspirational.  even with only a couple of days
to go, he spends his evenings perusing the databook ( with his good eye )
planning each mile over and over again.  he even called KAWNEE er
KAUNEWAU er KANGERO er Mike Henderson for help with his meal planning for
the last few days.  he so likes to involve everyone in his hike ( until
you piss him off, huh, POKEY and STOAT ).  he often calls KAHLEY just to
hear that special kind of abuse that only she can dish out.  when he
missed a white blaze blaze, he called WINGFOOT and asked for forgiveness.
 He had to say ten HAIL ROSIES and touch each new white blaze twice...
