I have narrow heels and wider front parts of my feet--both the ball of the
foot and the toe area. I have Salomon Authentic "something or others" and they
did me just fine. I usually wear a 6-1/2 to 7 woman's shoe and my boots are a
size 8 worn with one liner sock and one heavier sock (different varieties from
Thor-Lo to Smart Wool to ragg wool).
