Re: [at-l] sick

I had a horrible bout of the 'trekker trots' on the trail this year. I
was feeling very lethargic for two days, then one night I had the chills,
swollen glands, headache, fever, dysentery.

Took me four or five days to get over it. If it went past that, I was
going to have to go to a doctor. Was a bit worried. Luckily it ended.
When I finally got over this little bout, had the worse case of hunger I
ever had. Luckily, the Mtn Top Market was a short walk from the road.
And being the good Italian boy that I am, was quite estatic when I saw
all the ziti, Italian style cold cuts, and other things I have not seen
since I last ate at Grandma's back in February of '98. Needless to say,
betweem the extreme hunger and seeing all this food that was a taste of
home, I stuffed my face silly.

So the moral of the story? If you do get sick, make sure there is an
Italian Deli for when you do finally get better. :)
