[at-l] thru hiker tape

A couple of week ago thru hiker Sensi (John Carlson) was featured on my
local public radio station (WAMC, Albany NY) on their call-in program Vox
Pop.  It was an enjoyable hour and some interesting questions were asked
and answered.  John is quite thoughtful and candid, and paints a clear
picture of thru hiking as I have come to understand it from this list and
chatting with other thrus I've met on the trail.

I have subsequently obtained a tape of his program and would be glad to
send it on to any one who would like it.  If anyone does, we could send it
on a round robbin trip to those who want to hear it, a kind of AT-L chain
letter.  I'll send it to the first person who requests it, and notify the
list who has it.  t
Then they can send it on to the next one...

In other news, the Money Brook Bridge (on a blue blaze feeder to the AT
near Mt. Gerylock) was replaced today.  The former bridge was unsafe, and
taken down last spring.

Go hike! But remember you are sharing the woods with hunters for the next
month ('till Dec 13 in MA).  Don't wear brown and white....
