Re: [at-l] another toenail puzzlement

The problem with long toenails is the trauma of the nail colliding with the
nail bed and root. The repetitive injury of walking with weight creates a less
painful injury, but as significant as slamming a door on your toe. The nail
falls out several weeks later as the injured portion grows out and cannot
support the older nail. In some situations, the trauma may be enough to damage
the nail or kill further regrowth.

Hence, as usual, prevention is the key. Hygiene and other boring matters must
be followed!

Regarding the testosterone and 4th toe length - The amount of hair on the back
of the toe is a much more useful measure of testosterone, as well as the amount
of callous formation on the back of the hands (from dragging the ground).
