[at-l] Felix Update

With no water at Pass Mt. Hut (or much anywhere else in SNP due to the very
prolonged drought) and no food at Panorama Restaurant (closed for the
season), Felix J. McGillicuddy & Co. spent the night of 11/9 in Luray, VA.
Truth be told, it was Monday Night Football starring the Pittsburgh Steelers
that was the main draw.

Felix says hi to everyone in cyberspace, is doing exceptionally well, and
hopes to be at Springer somewhere around New Years Eve.

He's hiking right now with Groovin' Moose, who left Springer in mid-March,
summitted Katahdin in mid-August, and is now yo-yoing back to Springer.  He
met Felix at US522 near Front Royal two days ago and says his life will
never be the same.  Also with Machu Picchu and Huayna, from Quebec, who are
on a two-year hike from Maine to Peru.  That's right.  Peru.  Way on the
other side of the Panama Canal.  They say they plan to stay there for a year
and then walk back to Canada.

Regular Felix followers will note that two names heretofore associated with
Felix's hike are missing--Pokey and Stoat.  Pokey, the girlfriend, is now
Pokey, the ex-girlfriend, and left the Trail at Front Royal to go home.
Stoat also left at Front Royal but Felix hopes he will return soon.

Next town stop planned for Waynesboro in a few days.  Maybe the "Hollow"
after that.
