[at-l] Mail drops again

Any thru hikers on the list who used mail drops as their primary source of
resupply?  If so,  can I get an idea of how many that was (did you have one a
week or so?) and the cost involved, of the food and the mailing itself?  Is it
practical planning one for each town (where towns are 5 or 6 days apart)?  Or
did you find yourself resupplying in towns a lot even though you had mail
drops?  Any anwers would be appreciated -
