For better or worse!

I don't know how many of you know Beorn, Tale of the Forest, but he's become
near legendary on the AT, having hiked with him for nearly a week, this past
summer, I can confirm that!  He's real name is Woodrow Murphy and was
mentioned in Walk in the Woods as a favorite character of Bryson, though not
necessarily in flattering terms.  He was also featured in an Outside Magazine
article from May of '96.
