Tyke-Man, the through-hiker Karl and I saw in Georgia, might be a good
resource.  Having used Tyke extensively on his hike, he should be a good one
to comment on its effectiveness.

I've heard he's from Maine, but I've never heard about him since.  Have any
of his posting ever been on this list?  (Of course, he's likely still hiking
the A.T. at this point).
