You can get the Florida Trail book called "From Here To There On The 
Florida Trail" by calling Adventerous Travel Bookstore at 800-282-3963. 
The item you want is 13176 and with shipping it'll be $19.90 and it's 
the 2nd edition published 1998.

Then for maps, if you were going to hike the Ocala portion of the FT 
just buy the US Forest Service Map of the Ocala National Forest from the 
Florida Trail Association at 800-343-1882 for $4.00 + shipping). The 
other National Forests where the FT runs through also have maps for 
those areas (Appalachicola National Forest and another one that escapes 
me at the moment).

There is detailed info on hiking mileages between points and maps for 
all of the trail if you buy the "Hiking Guide to the Florida Trail" 
(Members Trail Guide) book from the Florida Trail Association ($12.00 -- 
if you need a 3 ring binder add $3.00). You'll probably need to become a 
member of the FTA to get that book ($25.00)
