When letting your legislators know about your opposition to cell towers on
public lands you might point out that they may soon be obsolete anyway. I
received the following on another list:
>Cell towers may soon be obsolete and unnecessary.
>Ericsson, the Swedish telecommunications multinational is currently working
>on a satelite based wireless phone to be implemented in southeast asia.
>
And then found the following site about the project:

Reason is often more convincing than passion when playing the game of
politics.
