11:41 PM EST: Those magnificent men (3) in their hiking boots start off on
a 24 hr. 50+mile hike from the border of Maine to Route 4 (Rangeley) in
Maine. Fletch, Rob and Birch all North Bound AT Thru Hikers departed on
this adventure under nearly a full, full moon. Supplies for this endeavor
included 12 P&B sandwiches, 4 tune sandwiches, 1 meatball sub with extra
cheese, and enough power bar bars to power an Apollo spacecraft to Mars. As
the three were swallowed up by the great Maine north woods, one could hear
the group say, "We must be crazy to be doing this."
