#1) Eureka Rising Sun/Autumn Wind - a small and larger version of a clip
tent. Available only thru Campmor. I am not sure this tent is even being
sold anymore. It's pretty roomy (the smaller version at least) for me
and weighs in at about 4.5# and 5.25# respectively. I think the rising
sun was about $180 and the Autumn wind about $200.

#2) REI Nitelite - i got one on sale for about $99 a few years ago, i
think it retails for about $140. It's a bit more narrow than the rising
sun, but has a nice sized vestibule. My one grief with this tent is that
i could never get the back area to be anything but flat, and it usually
collects rain water. I think the newer model remedies this tho. I think
this weighs about 5# or so, probably a bit more with a ground cloth.

#3) Walrus arch rival - this one is about $120 or so. These always
seemed so tiny to me, so i don't know how you'd feel in it with another
person. They are light weight tho, about 4.5# give or take some ounces.

#4) Sierra Designs clip flashlight - similar to the nitelite. i think
this is one of the most popular tents on the trail. it's only about 4.5#
and costs about $185.

#5) my dream tent - a stephensons 2R - way out of the $200 price range
(it's about $550). it's roomy, and weighs in at just over 2.5#. anyone
want to buy me an early yule present? :)
