Now that the rattlesnakes are there, maybe there's fewer mice.
BTW, I like Siler's OK, but my favorite shelter in that area is Derrick
Knob, just 5 miles south. It also has acrobatic mice, but I've had a
couple of my most pleasant contemplative evenings in that spot.
