Better tell the Copperheads that they're daytime hunters<G>. The ones around
my house like to hunt at night during the hottest times of the summer. Last
week, a little girl was bitten walking out to the garage about 10:30pm.
Almost every summer, there is an article about someone venturing out in the
yard after dark and stepping on a Copperhead. Luckily, as you stated, the
venom is not that potent.
