[at-l] 3 sided shelters



Lets see if we can salvage this thread...

We all know -- thanks to a series of about 50 posts :) -- that the shelters
have 3 sides. But unlike a leanto made from a tarp they can't exactly be
turned so the wind/rain/snow is blowing in the open side.  Any good stories
out there about different ways to jerry rig a 4th side? Or silly things
that have been done to keep warm when you (or another hiker) are cursing
the people who decided to have the shelter open in THAT direction?
