Not true!!! I can buy beef jerky for $9.98/lb. That is about as much as it costs me to make it when I include meat costs, preparation time, and electricity. Can anyone make it substantially cheaper than this? Fot those of you who make beef jerky, how much would you estimate it costs you per pound?
