[at-l] 5/22/98 A.T.Bibliography News

Memorial Day Weekend Greetings from Ol' Earthworm!

Of course all you hikers are going to be out on trails
this weekend, but this news will keep 'til next Tuesday. :-)
And at that point, after miles of hiking, you may NEED this
latest book I've put in the Bibliography. It's called "Fixing
Your Feet" and the author is John Vonhof. A good subtitle
would be: "Everything you always wanted to know about blisters!"
I think it covers everything you need to know about every other
foot problem that exists, too. I know I learned a LOT from it.
Actually, one of the things it stresses is PREVENTIVE maintenance.
Read this book so you WON'T have foot problems on your NEXT hike.
There's a lot of information at the book's own website:
  http://footworkpub.com
and the Bibliography on Trailplace is at:
  http://trailplace.com/cgi-bin/htmlscript?category_bibliography.hts
  click on "Books & Chapters"
then look at the last entry
or go to:
  http://trailplace.com
click on "ENTER HERE/Go to Contents Page"
  click on "AT Bibliography"
  click on "Books & Chapters"
then look at the last entry

Happy Hiking y'all!! I'm going to be out in this ~100-degree 100%
-humidity Florida heat Sat. and Sun., grooming trail for National
Trails Day hikes. I'm not sure whether that qualifies as hiking or
as masochism. :-(( I try to convince myself it's FUN! -- Earthworm
