[at-l] FBI says RUDOLPH MAY HAVE ESCAPED ALONG APPALACHIAN TRAIL

FYI, from a CNN  report:

Federal authorities said Friday that Eric Rudolph, the man suspected of
bombing
an Alabama abortion clinic, may have eluded a massive manhunt by escaping
along
the 2,160-mile Appalachian Trail. Rudolph, 31, told acquaintances before
the
bombing that -- if he needed to -- he might use the trail as an escape
route.
Rudolph was last seen January 30 in North Carolina, a day after the
Birmingham,
Alabama, clinic was bombed, killing an off-duty policeman and seriously
wounding a clinic nurse.
