Re: [at-l] Basic questions

I too will be down in VA this summer for a backpacking trip, so I'd be
interested
in knowing other people's experiences down there. I do hear that Shenandoah
is 
a nice place to visit.

As far as flashlights go, I usually do one of two things:
	-I use my petzl headlamp (headlamps are GREAT, especially when you have
to pee at night (i'm a boy!)).
	-I use my mini maglight (the kind that uses AA batteries): you can unscrew
the 
part that holds the lens and use that as a base for the flashlight..the
whole bulb will
light the tent up. I don't recall how long it lasts, but its pretty long.

Oh, I just bought some of those micro-lights some people were talking about
earlier. They do give out a lot of light (and some of these tiny lights can
last for 
several days, or so they say), but I'm not sure if you could read for long
periods
with a red, or green or blue light.

Oh, I like carrying a yoyo with me...especially the kind that lights
up...but I'm a geek ;0
