Speaking of urine being pure I remember hearing many years ago that on the
space ships they recycled their urine and it replenished thier water
supply. Or did I imagine it. Anyone know ?

A friend of mine (quite a bit older) had a medical testing lab. He's
retired now. He was telling me that in the old days before modern
technology the way urine was tested for high sugar or alum content was...
get this ..... taste.  YUUUKKKKKK !!!
