Me and the 'hiker formerly known as Mrs. Felix' hiked with two kids for
45 miles once. Ages about 4 and 6. They carried plenty of weight. We
never did figure out whose kids they were.

If I've said it once, I've said it once. Its just hiking. Put your pack
on, bitch about how much it weighs, and go. If you meet someone, smile
and say "Hi" (or, "Do you speak English?") If you see an old lady fall
down, help her up. Its just hiking.

How did we get from dehydrating to talking about black flies? I don't
want no dehydrated black flies.

Ya know the Betty Crocker Scallop Potatos and Og Rotten meals, etc? If
you soak the potatos all day long, will it cut down on cook time? Is all
day too long for soakin'? 18 simmer minutes is too long, and those things
is good.
