[at-l] Drinking water question.

This is for those who use iodine...
In the olden days, we'd use a bandana to 'filter' brook water by covering the
canteen's opening and dunking the canteen. Kept the sand out, at least. <g>
What do the no-filter/purifier people use now-a-days?
