[at-l] Re: Cell Phones?

How dare a person carry something into the wilds of the trail that destroys
the stage that nature has set? How can a person come in to a group and
utilize such man made contraptions - machines to destroy the tranquility that
we seek? Darn it, but it is wrong for someone to bombard our sences and
destroy our illusions. Let us just take a stand, because we know it is the
right thing to do, and ban them from the trail. While some say that tax
payers dollars pay for the trail, we are tax payers also and they can take
their little toys with them on the streets and roads and anyplace but not
here. Come on and be counted. Don't let those flashlights ruin our
hikes!!!!!!

How the heck can what someone else does matter to you? While a flashlight is
usually used in a shelter, cell phones are not. This debate is about as
justified as the Leki controversy last year, and as I said then, Lick My
Lekis.
