[at-l] Cell Phone Soup

"Cell Phone Soup", a simple recipe which results in unusually large portions
of a semi-interesting, but sooo-repetitive, dish:

Take one long-dead horse, beat it repeatedly, striking the same points over
and over again, until it becomes too obvious that you just can't beat it
anymore, then let someone else beat it, striking the same points, etc, etc.
When everything has been reduced to mush (including the brains of all
witnessing the process), heat, and throw the s**t out.

I do understand that this is an important issue, but it seems that on the
lists at least, this revolving discussion is doing nothing towards resolving
_anything_. It just seems to fractionalize the members and cause dissention
between nearly everyone. Perhaps posting the results of a poll using the new
Trailplace technology would allow people to input their individual take on
this, without raising hackles and/or bandwidth. Wingfoot could preface the
poll-results with strong cautionary words regarding the AT/Cell phones.
