You can contact the Maine Appalachian Trail Club at www.matc.org for
info concerning trail conditions and trail maintenance needs. This isn't the
Maine chapter of the AMC, it is a separate organization devoted to maintaining
the AT in Maine. A small group, with a huge responsibilty, done well.
