[at-l] Spring hike & parking

Hello All

Last weekends two feet of snow is melting fast this weekend here in Moscow
Vermont with temps in the 60's. I saw a motorcycle on the road this morning.

These conditions set off Spring Fever and my planning for few weeks on the AT
and a trip to Trail Days. I plan to hike from near Buchanan VA to Southern
Pennsylvannia where Redman (class of '97) will meet me on his way to
Damasscus. The plan is he will then bring me back to my pickup. The problem
left to be solved is where to leave my truck and how to get from there to the
trail. I plan to on the Trail within a day or two of April 17th. Does anyone
living along that area of the trail know of a safe place to leave my truck. If
so please let me know. 

Lets hear more reports on how this years group of thru-hikers are doing.
