Felix - though you obviously have some experience with chickens, I'm
suprised you haven't happened upon the obvious when dealing with a mutant
fowl as large as Leghorn. You can save time and effort by merely flipping
the tanned Leghorn hide inside-out - Voila! - instant rooster-down bag.
Upkeep on the rooster-leather bag exterior can be quite tedious, however,
and if not treated properly it will lose it's water repellency and
breathability. I've found ACME Hide Preserver to be both effective and
timely for upkeep of the bag, and it works well on my Ferret Boots also,
although not reccomended per se by the boot manufacturer. DISCLAIMER: I am
not a representative of ACME, nor am I affiliated with them in any way,
shape, or form, I merely believe in the quality of their product. If you
would be interested in trying this, or any, of their fine products, I would
be glad to set up a meeting at a time and place of your choosing, where I
can show you their catalog and we can discuss prices and bulk discounts. We
could also discuss the possibility of your exciting future with the one of
the finest companies in all of Americas' history, ACME.
