for those just embarking on your hiking and backpacking careers, or looking

There is a camptrails tent, designed by eureka, 2 person, three season, 6
1/2 lbs, for only 70 bucks! it looks pretty decent, Campmor has a liberal
return policy, and you just can't beat that price.
(also check out the royal robbins spread. yes, i do work for the company,
that was blatant commercialism :)
