Two places come to mind: 2 locations of REI (off I-85, and near Perimeter
Mall) The other location is Brigade Quartermasters. It is a "survivorist"
military sort of place, mostly frequented by hunters and such. Interesting
gear such as first aid, heat pads, fuel bars, food, and other stuff is very
applicable to us. The sporting superstores have some gear, but not as
specialized as REI or Brigade.
