Below is some general information for anyone who uses Amazon.com. It's
based on the knowledge I've acquired from becoming an Amazon Associate (a
Web site through which you can order certain of their books).

The last set of numbers you see in the above URL (after the ISBN) is the
Shopping Cart ID for the person who posted this URL. Amazon uses this id to
determine who to charge for the book if an order is placed for it. So
unless you want to possibly end up paying for everyone's book orders, I
believe it's a bad idea to post a URL to an Amazon.com book in a public
area.

If you get onto my site and check out my Ultralight Backpacking Book List,
you'll see that all of the Amazon.com URL's on that page have my site ID
associated with them instead of a Shopping Cart ID. BTW, you're welcome to
send those URL's to anyone, as I'll then receive a small referral fee if
they purchase the book!

Finally, just to be safe I actually scrambled the above Shopping Cart Id to
turn it into an invalid number.
