Finishing a FT work hike yesterday (with Joan Hobson, the author Solar Bear
wrote about as part of the crew), we saw a backpacked under full load heading
out. It was Thunder Chicken AT 97 heading out with the next generation in
tow. He was followed by his daughter (granddaughter?), about 6 or 7, with a
much smaller pack.
Guess this is the way we start the thruhikers of 2013!
