I have the exact set up as you do and have taken it out and slept
comfortably at around 20 degrees. The difference for me was the Patagonia
silkweight top and bottoms. I put my Polartec 200 fleece top at the bottom
of the bag (I have a Cat's Meow 3D 20, long---built for those up to 6' 5',
I'm only 6' 1" <on a good day>) and with my 4-way polartec socks, I'm cozy
and sleep like a kitten. A bonus is the warm jacket I can slip on for that
morning dash to...(use your imagination). BTW, I had never heard of "4-way"
socks before, but it seems they conform to your feet better than "2-way"
socks, consequently they are warmer. Anyone remember when they were just
socks?

P.S. How many of you are planning to hike the approach trail? How
long is it? Is the scenery worth the effort? Any thoughts?
