The Appalachian Long Distance Hikers Association has had to change the plans
for this year's Gathering. The plans for Shepherdstown, WV fell though and the
Gathering will be going back to Pipestem where it all began.
It will be at Concord College in Athens, WV, Oct. 9-11, 1998, with camping at
the Appalachian South Folklife Center in nearby Pipestem.
