[at-l] lightweight shelter - junglehammock

In the never ending quest for light weight alternatives, does anyone have
anything to say about jungle hammocks? There is a commercial variant on the
military design available (3lbs, 4 ozs - http://www.junglehammock.com/ ),
and though it is a bit heavier than a bivy sack and some bivy tents, I was
wondering as to it's adaptability for the AT. It could preclude the need for
a pad as well, if one chose to sleep in it every night. The copy at the site
says that it requires 15 ft or so of space between trees to set up. Are
there places where this would not be an option due to a lack of trees? If
so, are they many? Input appreciated, and Thanks!
