[at-l] poem times two

> Felix, a poem if you would!

Candle wax hardens
Jack Daniels on my breath
Pass out in the corner
Who killed Kennedy?

Itch I can't reach
Shoulder strap too tight
Where are my boots?
"We don't need no stinking badges"

Snakes slither
Colemans simmer
I pledge allegiance
Whats a stile?

Shuttle didn't show
Forgot my lighter
Forgot my lighter
What's a Squid?

Or, one that rhymes?!?

Walking on some powder
Sinking to my knees
Where are my snowshoes?
My feet are startin' to freeze.

Made it to the shelter
In the nick of time
Started a sleeting rain
On the biggest climb.

Cookin' a pot of soup
To warm my achin' bones.
Sound of boiling water,
Drowns my little groans.

In my sleeping bag now,
The wind, it starts to blow
I think its getting colder
The rain has turned to snow

Open a bottle of Boone's Farm
To toast my favorite Trail
So I drink this to you
You 2160 mile long dirt, Macadam, root, rock, gravel, water, grass and
other assorted material covered bastard.
