It was good to hear the hikers were rescued on Mt. Washington but I was
sorely troubled to hear the cellar at Lake of the Crowds Hut is used by
many passing hikers as a toilet. I am assuming the cellar is "The
Dungeon" where I spent a very restful night with The Blue Noodle and
Little Buddy during '96 thru hike. One man's toilet is another man's
bedroom.
