You are cordially invited to visit Step #222 on the Link Trail in Central
PA now "owned" by the Grove family. This is one of 1000 Steps being sold to
purchase the land around this 70 mile trail. The 1000 steps were used by
quarry workers daily. The ascent to the top of Jacks Mtn. is 1700 feet.
The Link Trail connects the Tuscarora Trall at Cowans Gap (which
eventually hits the AT) to the Mid-State Trail (180 miles and growing!) at
Greenwood Furnace State Park.
