Dwayne,

If I remember correctly, you're in Raleigh NC too.  I'd suggest going
to the Outback Trading Co, in the 'Celebration at Six Forks' shopping
center on Six Forks Rd.  The people there are outstanding.  My wife and I
bought our packs there.  I got a Gregory and she got an Osprey, both have
separate sleeping bag compartments and come in a variety of pack sizes.
I'm sure there's a model that'll fit your criteria.  Can't say enough
good things about the people there.  They really know their equipment,
all are hikers, and will be able to get you what you want.  Good luck!
