Thanks for all the information on the iodine.  I originally proposed it
out of curiosity.  I usually boil my water, and only even thought of the
question because on a recent trip I was co-leading, we *were* going to buy
iodine tablets, but forgot to pick them up.  Thanks again for the info, I
continue to write my allergy to shellfish on all my papers, and will now
be thinking more about the other things I do.  Thanks again! =)
