I too was on the AT last saturday (Worthington State Forest, DWG, NJ), but
crossed paths with only one thru-hiker - SPOON - who is guessing it'll be
December 18th when he makes it to Springer.  Hope his 20-25 mile days don't
get too slowed down by snow before then!
