[at-l] International AT hiker

I saw on the national news (CBS I think) last night that the first hiker
to hike the International AT finished recently.  He started hiking in
January from Florida in January and finished in Quebec.  I think his
name was Mike Brinda (they didn't say his trail name unfortunately).

Did anyone else see this?  Anyone meet him this year while thru-hiking?
I've searched the web looking for a news article but can't seem to find
one anywhere.
