If you want steep, rocky and challenging, then you want the Beaver Brook
Trail up from Kinsman Notch (Rt 112).  It follows a cascade much of the
way, and includes sections where wooden steps have been pinned into the
steep, slick rock.  I'm not sure I'd choose this trail on a really wet
day, though.  If it's a clear day, the view from the top should be
incredible -- have a great hike!
