Annie and the Salesman here.  We just got back from hiking the Colorado
Trail from Denver to Durango and would like to recommend the book "Hiking
the Colorado Trail" by Robert Denise.  It has town maps and a descriptive
data book with elevations and is written from a thru-hikers perspective. 
I'll be glad to answer any questions anyone has about the trail.
