[at-l] We're Back! (Fallingwater & Lucky 13)

After 59 days and 700 plus miles, Brandon "Lucky 13" and I summited 
Katahadin on Sunday August, 25.  As many of you know, Linda "Red Rainbow" 
had to get off the trail at Mahoosuc Notch due to her knees, but she was in 
our thoughts went we reached the top.

During our hike in the North we traveled with many other Thru-Hikers.  We 
are eternally indebted to them for their support and encouragement along 
the trail. But more than anyone, we are forever greatful for the Pine 
Family.  Whispering Pine's family was responsible for the hiker box outside 
of Monson with the cold drinks and Whoopie Pies.  In addition they provided 
Brandon and I a ride to Bangor at the end of the trail plus numerous other 
Trail Magic activities.  We'd also like to thank Tumbles parents for taking 
Linda into their home to recoup while waiting for her flight home.

We climed with a number of Thru-Hikers. Some were completing their journy 
others were headed South to finish their hike.  These hiker's include.

Whispering Pine - Completed trail
Shadow - Completed trail
Three Piece - Completed trail
Daddy Long Legs - Completed trail
Optimist - Completed trail
Wild Boar - Completed trail
Scooter - Completed trail
Honeybear - Completed trail
Rareback - Completed trail
Chief - Completed trail
Kicks - Completed trail
Pepie- Completed trail
Mo - Hiked from Bear Mtn.
Joplin - Hiked from Conn.
Seeker Street - Hiked from NJ
Minty Fresh - Headed south to Harpers Ferry
JayBird - Headed south to Harpers Ferry

Last but not least was LoneWolf who accompied us on and off from Gorham 
north to Katahadin.  He's a 12,000 miler that's yet to complete the trail.

We also hiked with a number of people that were expected to summit on the 
26. They incude:

Virginia Creeper - Completed trail
Spaz - Completed trail
Tumbles - Completed trail
Smokin' Joe - Completed trail
Carney - Completed trail

Over the next few week's we'll work on getting our journals completed and 
online.  I also hope to have pictures of this years trek.
