Re: [at-l] Ima

Remember the pack that Warden Bubba T. Billy Bob Jones gave us down in
Macon before the swamp clean-up project? Standard prison issue they
were, but they seemed to hold up well, held the dog, ropes, beans, and
smoke shifter quit well and were comfortable in the heat. After 6 months
in the swamps, they even served us well and held all the gear we needed
for our escape. I have my favorite trail pic hanging in my office from
that trip. Remember the one of you climbing out of that sewer pipe, down
by the creek, right outside the double barb wire fence? Not exactly
the AT, but we sure did follow that leave no trace ethic. Even the
hounds couldn't find a trace of us. That smoke shifter sure did blow
the scent away! And who said you couldn't hike in cotton striped prison
issue garb and sneakers. If I remember correctly, those packs were made
at the Federal Pen over in Alabama. Send your old ID number and they
just might send you one. By what I here, they are still interested in
your whereabouts and would be more than happy to hear from you.
