I've got Dana's The Wind pack, which is about 5.5 pounds, and it's got a
nice hip belt. The pack is big enough to carry a basic ultralight load; but
it's small enough to require packing discipline. My usual load for a hike
of several days is around 20 pounds. (I don't carry a stove).
