If my memory serves me ( that is questionable) we used to figure one
gallon of aviation fuel at 7.1 pounds at 75 F. Let's see 7.1 divided by 4
is about 1.8 in a round number. Multiplied by .98 to convert to metric
will be just a little over 1.7 pounds or 1 pound 11 ounces. Yep, almost 2
lbs per liter.   Hopeful
