To all;
There is a hiker appreciation dinner at Spruce Peak shelter this
Saturday, tommorrow night from 5 p.m. on. This is a cook-out to welcome
the thru-hikers on AT/LT to Vermont and to honor their accomplishment. The
hiking community is welcome particularly if you are willing to contribute
food or carry in some of the goodies. Spruce Peak is 3 miles south of Rt
11/30 in southern Vermont near Manchester. You can E-mail me tonight for
more info or just show up. If you do not E-mail, bring your own food. This
is sponsored by the Green Mountain club Brattleboro section.
